My time co-leading ESPN’s NBA coverage on social included the following:

- Games/Events such as NBA Playoffs, free agency scenarios, HOF announcements, milestones (ie. LeBron passing Kobe for most points), All-Star Weekend, NBA Draft
Project management
- High level of attention to detail and organization
- Collaborated with senior manager, fellow social specialists and designers
- Assigned tasks, made sure deadlines were met, reviewed finished work and asked for any needed changes
- Reviewed success/failures, then shared what worked and what didn’t with wider team
- Assigned tasks, made sure deadlines were met, reviewed finished work and asked for any needed changes
- Collaborated with senior manager, fellow social specialists and designers
Managing three to five others to cover live games/events
- Assigned specific roles to each person, monitored content that’s going out across all platforms, created end-of-game content plans
Producing on-site content for social (examples below)
- Identified and captured viral, exclusive content for ESPN platforms

Examples of Content Plans I’ve Managed:
Lakers winning the 2020 championship
A small group of three of us worked together to create our full content plan for the Lakers winning the title. We had over a dozen pieces of content prepared to roll out after the buzzer sounded across ESPN, SportsCenter and NBA on ESPN accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram — totaled 45+ posts. I drafted copy for nearly every post ahead of time.
Additionally, I was Digital Content Lead for the final game. Hours before the game started, I made sure everyone working was assigned content to publish. That way, we were able to push that out easily, and quickly pivot to reacting in the moment and creating even more content. The result was a huge show of teamwork. It was an amazing night and an incredibly rewarding process.
Below is a look at some of the content that went up on ESPN’s Instagram feed from that night:

Miami Heat Advancing to 2020 NBA Finals
I made sure deadlines were met and all content was ready ahead of each potential elimination game (Games 5 and 6). I also laid out where all prepped custom content would be posted after the game across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram on SportsCenter, ESPN and NBA on ESPN accounts.
These are the first graphics that went out across SC and ESPN on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook:
